Are you the next great image maker? Submit your photos to PhotoVogue today

This year, PhotoVogue has become a global project involving the entire Condé Nast network around the world. Our global network allows artists to have their work published or commissioned by our brands in all 32 markets and trading partners. It will also generate more events, conferences, exhibitions and portfolio reviews around the world to promote creativity and encourage diversity in image making.

PhotoVogue’s mission is to champion talent, reach historically excluded communities, and improve visual literacy while promoting a more just, ethical, and inclusive world. And today, we’re thrilled to launch our first Global open callapproved by all our vogues all over the world.

There are 26 editions of vogue around the world, each with their own distinct aesthetic and style, all united in the pursuit of excellence while creating timeless fashion images. Respecting this diversity and working towards a common goal is how vogue secured a pioneering role in visual communication. We are looking for artists who express themselves through photography, video or both; anyone aged 18 and over can apply.

Submissions will be evaluated by Condé Nast staff around the world, as well as experts from the wider international visual community. With judges drawn from as many different backgrounds as possible, PhotoVogue will build an inclusive and diverse vision with space for every type of visual aesthetic, from realistic to fantastical. Not only all vogues publish a portfolio of the best submissions (online and/or print), but some artists will also be selected to contribute to an editorial; the most famous submissions will be included in the main exhibition of PhotoVogue Festival 2022 in Milan.

PhotoVogue has helped launch the careers of many artists by showcasing their work in vogue Italy. Many of these star artists, including Kennedi Carter, Camila Falquez, Nadine Ijewere, Mous Lamrabat and Sonia Szóstak, went on to obtain vogue cover shoots around the world. Now that we engage all editions of vogue globally, the opportunities to showcase artists from different backgrounds, countries and aesthetics have multiplied. You could be one of the new voices that will shape not only our brand identity, but also our culture.

With this open call, we are looking for visions that push the boundaries of today’s fashion landscape. We want to shine a spotlight on the next generation of fashion image makers and socially responsible artists who are a driving force for change and whose work can engage in dialogue with different genres, from documentary to art. We are looking for artists who can address issues related to social justice and sustainability in powerful and dynamic images and films. Fashion has become a common language and one of the main tools for building identity and vogue, through his photographs and stories, has always addressed his intersection with socio-political issues by raising questions, embracing innovation and even influencing change. We are committed to leading the way for the next generation of fashion image makers, and we would love for you to join us.
